Scottish land owners are legally entitled to use the title of Laird. This is the widely accepted equivalent of an English Lord or Lady. When registered you will own a token piece of land in Scotland and will be a Laird.

You will then be sent an official personalised land ownership certificate along with a ‘Proof of Title’ card. This card allows you entry into the Lairds Retreat. This is 10 acres of beautiful land in Argyll which is owned by Scottish Angus Survival. It is located by the banks of Loch Riddon which is viewed by many as one of Scotland’s most beautiful lochs. The Laird/Lady and their party are free to camp, hike and fish on the land - full details of the retreat are enclosed in the gift box.

A map showing you the location of your plot is enclosed in your gift box. In order to preserve the natural state of the land there are no signs directing you to the plot neither are there any facilities on site. We suggest that you visit the Lairds Retreat rather than your plot.

This is a wine lover’s dream; an actual vine adopted for them and some tasty perks to go with it!

This gift entitles the recipient to have a vine dedicated to you at a well respected British vineyard. Upon registration they will be sent a confirmation certificate along with a Vineyard Privilege Card.

This privilege card is valid for 12 months and entitles them to:
•              A vineyard tour
•              10% discount at the Vineyard shop
•              Attend the grape picking harvest
•              Wine sampling at the vineyard

The vineyard is located in Oxfordshire. Upon registration you will be sent full contact details, opening hours, address and directions to the vineyard.

Only a small number of stars in our sky actually have names allocated to them; the majority are nameless and are distinguished by their catalogue number only. Your gift box contains the details of one of these unnamed stars that is ready for naming by you.

On your Star Details Form is information about your star; two of these references being your star’s Right Ascension and Declination. These are the co-ordinates that relate to the exact position of your star in the sky. Just use these co-ordinates and the instructions on your ‘5 Steps to Locating Your Star’ sheet to find the exact location of your star on the huge wall map enclosed.

Naming your star is easy; you can either complete the process online or fill in and return the lower section of your Star Registration Form. You are required to enter your star name, your contact and delivery details. This is then entered into the Star Registry and you are sent a certificate confirming your star registration.

This information will then be periodically submitted to the British Library

The recipient of this gift will have a unique rose named after them and stored at the British Library.

An easy-to-use growing guide helps even the most novice gardener to plant their rose successfully. Once the seeds are planted, the recipient follows the simple rose naming instructions, providing us with their details and their chosen rose name.

This information is then entered into the International Rose Naming Registry and is submitted to the British Library.
